Nacpan beach is the number one beach in El Nido to visit! Together with Calitang beach it formes a twin beach because the two beaches share the same shoreline. The reason that this beach has two names is because the coast is located on the border of two different villages who gave their part of the beach a different name.
These two beaches are often referred to as twin beach instead of Nacpan or Calitang. The twin beaches are not yet visited by tourists as much as other beaches in the area, allowing you to bask in your own piece of paradise.
Nacpan Beach and his twin neighbor are not yet commercialized. This means you have a large pristine beach to enjoy. The only structures you will find are a fishing village and a large rest house. Because these twin beaches have not been developed for mass tourism, Nacpan beach is one of the most scenic and secluded beach in Palawan. This don’t mean you cant buy anything. In a small store near the beach you can buy some foods and cold drinks. It is advisable to bring your own lunch.
How to get there
You can hire a tricycle to bring you to Nacpan beach. That will cost you P1,000. It is possible for the tricycle to carry up to 4 passengers for P1,500.
Another option is to take a jeep to the nearest jump off point. When you want to take a jeep for trasportation be advised that they only operate once during the day, specifically noon from El Nido town areas.
You can also get there by boat. The boat is more expensive than the first two options.
The estimated travel time to reach the twin beaches is normally about 1 hour if you go by tricycle and 40 minutes by van from El Nido town. Expect a rough road travel since the road is not yet developed.
