It is difficult to get in but it’s all worth it! As the name indicates hidden beach is well hidden and can’t be reaches by boat. The beach is literally hidden from the open sea by long-gigantic pointed stone walls that make it hidden from the uproar of the waves. The beach is surrounded by a sheer cliff so you can’t see the beach from land as well.
Among the other beautiful and serene beaches in El Nido, this is the best among the rest. Simple because you can spend some moment with nature and experience a deafening silence.
Because the beach is well hidden and it’s a challenge going there, there is not much to do here but enjoying nature. You get rewarded by nature at noon when the sun does it’s magic on the limestones. When the sun comes in at noon, the limestones are looking alive due to the reflections of lights from the water – absolutely magic!
How to get there
To get to the secret beach, you have to swim through an opening in the limestones. This means you have to swim underwater to reach the hidden beach. After a short swim you find a line of white sand bordering an amazing cove.
Most island hopping tours have trips to the hidden beach.
A precautionary note is that the beach floor drops abruptly. Inside you’ll see actual sand and shore and not just a lagoon that will defy the precaution and challenge the curiosity and desire of tourists.
What to do
Swimming and snorkeling. This secret beach offers a good time for swimming and snorkeling because there are small and colorful fishes going around you. You can dip and stand still in the water until the small fishes take a little bite in your skin’s feet and legs.
It is also a good diving site for you to be acquainted with the local marine life.
Aside from these activities, you can also take a walk around the beach until you find the smaller version of it with a smaller limestone also.
