When you love surfing, than Duli beach is the place to be!
When you go beyond Nacpan beach you reach a small town called Bucana. There you can find a great beach called Duli beach. This two kilometer long beach has got clear blue water, white sand, palm trees with jungle behind, rock formations and it is secluded! That sounds like a perfect beach! This beach can be described as lonely and remote.
The tourist who visited this beach call it a public secret because only a few are going there to enjoy the scenic views. The sand may not be as white as some of the other beaches in the area but it is powdery soft. You can dip your legs in the sand and enjoy the therapeutic effect of it.
How to get there
The road may not be too accessible but the travel is worth doing it. It is approximately 40 kilometers from El Nido town. From there take the west coast road and drive to the Bucana intersection and turn left. The Duli Beach sign will appear shortly. Do not hesitate to pass the “private property” sign. For transportation you can rent a motorcycle in El Nido. Expect a bumpy ride and a bit of walking to go there. Because of the undeveloped road, few people try to explore the beach.
What to do
There are plenty of big waves. The big waves are waiting for surfers to give it a try
Aside from surfing, you can spend your stay onshore and feel the strike of the water in your body.
Even with the presence of big waves, you can still go for swimming. The rocky part is best for those who just want to dip half of their body into the water.
If you are not into surfing and go to this beach, just let your body feel the sand and enjoy the sun.
While the shade of palm trees gives you time to rest and enjoy the scenic view of the beach.
