Bulog Island is in close proximity of Malcapuya and Banana Islands, and as such they are routinely included together in the same island hopping tour.
Bulog Island actually consists of two islets, but one, Bulog Uno, is private and under the ownership of Two Seasons Hotel Resorts. During low tide a sandbar stretches all the way to the neighboring Malaroyroy Island and resort’s main building. The other part, Bulog Dos, is available to everyone. It’s quite small and simple island, but definitely stunning.
One side of Bulog Island is rocky while the other side is made up of the finest white sand. It also has a viewing deck, which reveals the 360 degree view of the island. The only establishment on the isle is a small cottage where visitors may rest, take cover from the Sun and have their lunch.
Snorkeling on the island is excellent some five-six meters from the beach. Parrotfish, angel fish, barracudas, triggerfish snapper, trunkfish, blue tang and Moorish idols all roam the warm waters around the island. You can also choose to go around the island in a kayak.
